The Harvest Ritual
It took place at the basement of a grocery shop in Vauxhall. The intimate darkness of the underground was the perfect setting to imagine the cycles of Nature, to celebrate the harvest around the time of the performance in early November. The trusting audience was blindfolded and led underground where Verse and Music unfolded in the most epic story of Birth to Death and Rebirth, with the smell and touch of the Mother and the taste of magic tonics brewed for the occasion. Written and performed in collaboration with Oliver Grant, actor, puppeteer and musician at the National Theatre, Shakespeare Flute Theatre and many others. The music, alongside Oliver’s Violin, was performed by Hermione Jones in Cello. The strings were the invisible and so powerful thread throughout the story.
El Ritual de Cosecha
Sucedió en el sótano de un boliche de esquina en Vauxhall. La íntima oscuridad del subterráneo fue la locación perfecta para imaginar los ciclos de la Naturaleza, para celebrar la cosecha cerca del tiempo de la performance a principios de Noviembre. Se le vendaron los ojos a la audiencia confiada y se le guió al subterráneo donde se reveló el Verso y la Música en la historia más épica de Nacimiento a Muerte y Renacimiento, con el olor y el tacto de la Madre y el sabor de los tónicos mágicos elaborados para la ocasión. Escrito e interpretado en colaboración con Oliver Grant, actor, titiritero y músico en National Theatre, Shakespeare Flute Theatre y muchos otros.
La música, junto al Violín de Oliver, fue interpretada por Hermione Jones en Cello. Las cuerdas fueron el invisible y muy poderoso cordón a través de la historia.
