For the Art of the second solo album by Phil Gould and singles, I took references from the lyrics and the video of the first single ‘Beautiful Wounds’.
The concept for the album cover started as a place that was abandoned, that was falling apart, with cracks and the paint falling off as a metaphor for an inner world that has been hurt.
This neglected space has a big opening in the ceiling, a connection to the above that is always there, a hopeful twist to the mistreated palace.
The sleeve is a reference to the video but I drew the character as if he was made of stars, a sad depiction of someone desperate, that doesn’t know that he is made of cosmic matter.
The Art for ‘The Dance’ single, is the remembrance of a ghost, an impossible and so desired need to revive an encounter with someone we love that remains inaccesible in the past.
‘Faint Love’ comes to boycott the happy ending, with a cut wing over the image of a loving couple it could have been.

Para el Arte del segundo solo album y los singles de Phil Gould, tomé referencias de las letras y el video del primer single ‘ Beautiful Wounds’.
El concepto para la portada del disco comenzó como un lugar que estaba abandonado, que estaba cayéndose, con grietas y la pintura descascarándose, como una metáfora de un mundo interior que ha sido herido.
Este espacio tiene una gran apertura en el cielo, una conexión con lo divino que está siempre ahí, un giro esperanzador para el palacio maltratado.
La manga del disco es una referencia al video pero dibujé el carácter como si fuera hecho de estrellas , una triste representación de alguien desesperado, que no sabe que está hecho de material cósmico.
El Arte para The Dance (El Baile) es la memoria de un fantasma, una imposible y deseada necesidad de revivir un encuentro con alguien que amamos que permanece inaccesible en el pasado.
Faint Love (Amor Débil, sin substancia) viene a boicotear el final feliz, con una ala rota sobre la imagen de la pareja amorosa.
